VILLAGE GREEN SHOPPING CENTRE UPGRADE

Sirona Urban engaged Insight Project Services to project manage the renovations and upgrades to the Village Green ‘Highstreet’ between Manning Road and Wallana Drive.

Works included modifications to the entry of Manning Road, modifying the ‘Highstreet’ to one way traffic with high pedestrian use, urban street scape works including all civil works, landscaping and new alfresco dining structures.

The project was completed within a live operating environment and managed access requirements for centre operations, customers and retail tenants.

These enhancements were meticulously executed to foster a cohesive environment and amplify the utilisation of existing seating areas, greatly benefiting local food and beverage establishments. The revamped layout delivers an enhanced experience for customers and sets the stage for pop-up events to be hosted by the Centre. 

In addition to the construction works, the client engaged a Public Art Consultant who engaged with local artists to provide complementary art installations on site, these works were co-ordinated with building works through Insight Project Services and the Builder.

The works were completed in line with the rebranding of the shopping centre from Waterford Plaza to Village Green.
