Kahuna Falls is the largest children’s water feature playground in the Southern Hemisphere and was completed in time for the September 2011 Adventure World opening season at a cost of $3M. The project required the erection of interactive play structure imported from Europe, demolition of an existing “beach scene area”, civil earthworks, extension of an existing plant room and the provision of new pumping and filtration equipment, construction of concrete pool slab & surrounding concourse and testing & commissioning of the entire system.

Insight recommended a Managing Contractor approach to the works, which was adopted with great success by Adventure World and allowed the works to be completed in good time for a successful opening to the 2011/12 season.
