DHL engaged Insight Project Services (Insight) to oversee and project manage the design and construction of the new DHL Warehouse and Distribution Facility constructed on Talbot Road Kenwick.

The site is 42,922m3 and the new facility has been designed specifically to suit the bespoke operational requirements of the Tenant. 

The facility consists of a 17,904m3 ambient and temperature - controlled warehouse facility inclusive of a -25 Degree Freezer area and Vault. An office of 1,132m3 will be provided and parking for 150 cars. The external hardstand comprises approximately 21,291m3 of heavy-duty and light-duty concrete pavement. The facility stores more than 300,000 Litres of various classes of Dangerous Goods.

The warehouse is ESFR sprinkler protected and includes 350kW of roof top solar.

DHL’s requirements have been incorporated into the design from inception, with racking, loose furniture, security, IT, WIFI services all being delivered under the Head Contract with FDC.
