Following the success of Forrest Hall Stage 1 (FH1), the University of WA engaged Insight Project Services (Insight) to oversee and project manage the design and construction of the next stage (Forrest Hall Stage 2 (FH2)) on the site directly adjacent FH1.

Kerry Hill Architects were engaged to develop the design, which provides accommodation for 10 Forrest Scholars, 65 short stay accommodation rooms, 1,000m2 of office space, 500m2 of Club Lounge dining, parking for 39 cars in a basement carpark and all ancillary services for the operation of the building.

The project has many similarities to FH1, however will be unique in that it offers a completely different experience for occupants and is primarily focused on short stay guests with only minor scholar accommodation considered in the scheme of the overall proposal.

The project is due for completion in the first quarter of 2021.
