The Kmart Distribution Centre (DC) sits on a 96,000m2 site at Jandakot Airport within the Jandakot City Commercial and Industrial Park.

The proposed DC includes both ambient and chilled warehousing spaces, Pick n Pack and Cross Docking operations within a total covered building area of 41,700m2. The DC will process over 8 million general merchandise cartons to 23 retail outlets within WA with future provision to cater for up to 4 additional Kmart stores in WA.

The project incorporates separate Receiving and Despatch facilities, Head Office, Amenities and vehicle car parking for 250 cars. The site caters for 150 staff and has the capacity to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Approximately 50% of the floor space is racked with the remaining 50% comprising a large mechanised sortation and bulk floor stacking system.
