Our Role: Fitout Project Design, Construction and Transition Manager
IPS were appointed as the Oceaneering Fitout Project Manager for their new Office and Workshops project at the Jandakot Airport Estate in July 2013. The role required IPS to manage the complete fitout design, construction integration and fitout transition coordination for Oceaneering into their new facility.
Oceaneering is a global deep sea oil and gas engineering company with a 50 year history. The Perth business was fragmented and spread across 4 different sites and the project brought all the business units together on one site, realising improvements in operational efficiency and reduced overheads. Oceaneering is the Lessee for the building and the Lessor (Jandakot Airport Holdings) developed the facility.
The project consists of a 2 level office complex covering approximately 1,950m2 of floor area, 3 workshops each covering 5,000m2, 400m2 and 1,200m2 respectively, 200 car bays, 15,470m2 of concrete hardstand all on a 36,000m2 site.
The facility was completed on 31 October 2014 with relocation of all business units occurring over a 4 week period during the course of November 2014.
